A quincentennial…. Since discovery in 1505 and guided by our motto Quo Fata Ferunt
(Whither the Fates May Lead), Bermuda headed down the path of almost accidental success.
Our traditional fare, a wonderful elixir of comfort food with a local twist, enjoyed similar success as we
showcased it at each festive occasion. Today we begin the next 500 years with a new vision, a new
interpretation of food preparation, Bermuda-style. New Bermuda Cuisine embraces the best of Bermuda-grown
produce, the succulence plucked from our surrounding seas and reinterprets traditional dishes in a modern
style, influenced by the globalization of food trends. While each dishes evokes a link to Bermuda it sits
alongside the new, the innovative and, of course, the divine.
